Project Coordinator CO

Job purpose

The Project Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative services in order to ensure effective and efficient operations during preconstruction, construction, and closeout of projects. This position will impact a rapidly growing organization and offers career development opportunities for the right candidate.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Provide admin/clerical support to the Regional Manager and Company Staff.
  • Support Estimating with Bid and Proposal Document preparation.
  • Support Project Managers with Purchase Order and Subcontract development.
  • Support Project Managers with project documentation, submittals, RFI's, and closeout.
  • Assist in processing invoices using in-house accounting software.
  • Assist in reviewing timecards for weekly payroll.
  • Lead Compliance reporting efforts (DBE, Certified Payroll, etc).
  • Assist Human Resources with receiving and logging applications.
  • Review Owner payment application for correctness and conformity.
  • Notarize documentation as may be required.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree or higher.
  • 2-5 years' experience as Administrative Assistant.
  • Basic accounting knowledge and detail oriented.
  • Strong PC skills including proficiency in Excel.
  • Strong work ethic and team player.
  • High degree of professionalism.
  • Ability to protect sensitive and confidential material.
  • Strong interpersonal (verbal and written) communication skills with appropriate Company personnel.

Other Functions

  • Demonstrated skills in Microsoft and other computer software (Spectrum, B2G, LCP Tracker, etc)
  • Ability to work without supervision in a medium office environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and complete project assignments independently and on-time.
  • Pleasant and welcoming demeanor both in person and on the telephone.
  • Organization skills and performing job requirements efficiently and orderly.

Working conditions

Primarily a controlled office environment with standard hours. Occasionally may require additional hours to meet deadlines.


Physical requirements

May lift up to 25 pounds to move copy paper to the copier.
